The Bluetooth standard was born out of necessity of creating a wireless connection between computers and devices. Bluetooth Headsets, Speakers, Smartphones, Smart watches and many devices use a Bluetooth radio to communicate.
Bluetooth Classic is the wireless protocol that's been ubiquitous for almost 15 years.
